About this product
Built for precision work
A lightweight anti-static scissoring spray built for precision work. Scissor Mist lets the coat move with the blade instead of against it, controlling flyaways, lifting hair into an even working plane, and leaving a static free, plush scissor finish.
Formulated to help you hold consistent length and shape with confidence, it is enriched with hydrolysed keratin to strengthen and support hair integrity, so the coat finishes resilient, salon ready and show ready. Aloe vera and Vitamin E condition as you work, while a bright lemon sherbet fragrance of lemon, bergamot and sweet orange keeps the table smelling as good as the finish looks.
A limited edition collaboration between Colin Taylor and Melanie Newman. Made in Australia. External use only. Professional dog grooming product.

How to use
Comb, mist, scissor
-
Comb
Lift and separate the hair with a fine tooth comb into an even working plane.
-
Mist
Hold 60 cm (24 in) from the coat and mist lightly over the section you are about to scissor.
-
Scissor and repeat
Scissor while the coat is standing plush. Re-comb and re-mist lightly until uniform — never to the point of saturation.
Coat notes. Tight, open curls: comb first, then mist to hold the curls open. Spaniel and drop coats: mist before combing to build plushness.
The collaboration
Two names on one bottle
Colin brings the competition floor and the classroom. Melanie brings the formulation and the factory. One limited edition bottle, made in Melbourne, that both of them were happy to put their name on.

Colin Taylor
International Groomer, Educator and Judge
Colin Taylor is one of the most decorated competitors in modern grooming history. After early years in the UK and Hong Kong, he spent two decades in the U.S. collecting top honours — Intergroom's International Groomer of the Year, World Cup Grooming Games champion, multiple Best in Show titles, and a long-running role on Groom Team USA. He is a five-time Groomer to Groomer cover feature and a regular TV contributor.
Returning to the UK, Colin wrote the authoritative What Would Colin Do?, established the Colin Taylor Academy to upskill hundreds of groomers, and founded MastergroomUK. He now judges major competitions worldwide, presents seminars, and served as a judge on Pooch Perfect in Australia and the UK.
